This year was the first time that we spent Christmas at home, alone, without any other relatives. It was a very low key Christmas but it was fun to spend it with our little family. Claire's big gifts from Santa included a kitchen, guitar and harmonica. Owen received a hippo chair and a bunch of bath toys. It was a little emotional for Daniel as we gave him items he could take on deployment. He especially teared up when he opened a calendar that I made for him with family pictures.
