My friend Sarah's husband runs a local dairy here in El Paso called Sarah Farms. She invited a bunch of ladies and their children out to the dairy for a tour and we had a great time. The tour started with two day old calves that the kids got to pet and feed. They were so sweet and Claire and Owen loved the experience. Then we moved into the factory where we put on our hair nets and walked through to see how the milk is processed and packaged into the jugs. It was really neat to see the entire process! After the tour we sat out on the lawn and had a picnic. They distributed fresh milk to the kiddos and they even made them milk shakes. It was a great educational day!
