This weekend was, once again, very laid back and relaxing. Daniel and I were in bed at 7:30 on Friday. Daniel has been fighting a nasty cold and I was just tired from the week. The sad thing is that two of our friends, Lindsey and Wendy, both called to ask if they could watch Claire while we went on a date and we were both so tired that we declined both offers. Saturday evening we got out of the house and went next door to
Truk and Wendy's for a get together.
Truk is an OB/
GYN and just took his boards on Friday so it was a get together to celebrate the end of his four months of studying. Claire and Morgan had a good time playing together and we enjoyed some adult company.
On a different note, Claire started clapping last week!! I've attached a couple of videos of her attempting to eat
macaroni (it's a little slippery) and clapping. Daniel and I are having such a great time with her.............minus the fact that she is definitely not a sleeper and still doesn't sleep through the night. It's starting to get hard to imagine that she ever will!!! Either way, it's hard to be frustrated with her when she wakes up smiling at us and ready to play. At this point we've just learned to function with very little sleep.
This was a welcome home sign for Truk (he was in Dallas taking his boards) that Claire and Morgan completely tore apart.

Cute videos! Ally is so close to clapping, too. She will clap once and then just bob them up and down. This is such a fun age, huh!
