We had a great long 4th of July weekend. We started off festivities on Friday at Lisa and Erik's house. We ordered take-out sushi and ate at their house along with our friends Mary, Keith and their baby Sofia. After dinner, we all walked down to our house, put the girls to bed, and had "adult time" where we attempted to play games but ended up just hanging out and talking until around midnight. Saturday we went to our friends Jess and Steve's new house for a 4th of July cookout. They just moved to a new house on three acres of land so we had plenty of room to play and shoot fireworks. Unfortunately, Claire didn't take a great nap that afternoon so she was fussy and ready to leave pretty early. We still had a really good time and enjoyed hanging out with everyone. Sunday, our friends Michelle and Yinon invited us over for yet another cookout. They are moving next month to head to Boston for grad school at Harvard so it was nice to visit with them. In between BBQ's Daniel and I did our best to get things ready for a yard sale that we are planning to have this coming weekend. We didn't realize how much junk we actually had until we started moving it all to the garage. We still aren't quite ready but we will be by Friday! Hope you all had a happy 4th!!
