Friends + Food = FUN!!!

We had a great weekend! Friday morning was day one of our garage sale. I had to work so Daniel ran the sale and our friend Mary was nice enough to watch Claire for us. We had initially contemplated whether or not to have it on Friday in addition to Saturday but we were amazed by how much traffic we got on Friday...............well worth it! Friday night Daniel and I ordered take-out sushi and had a nice relaxing family evening. Saturday morning we got up bright and early to greet more garage sale goers, however, we had much less traffic than Friday. It also started to rain around 11:00 so we closed up shop early. Saturday evening, our friends and neighbors, Lisa and Erik, invited us and five other couples to a cookout at their house. They just finished putting in a stone patio and pergola themselves and it turned out so nice. It was really muggy outside from the rain but it was still nice to be outside. Lisa and Erik grilled Korean short ribs and everyone else brought side items, appetizers and desserts. After dinner we put up the pack-n-play and Mary and I put Claire and Sofia to bed so we could have "adult" time. We stayed up until 12:30 playing games, guy vs. girl style.............it was a blast!! The guys won but only barely and we girls are pretty sure they cheated.......hahahaha!!!
