Sunday afternoon, some friends of our invited us over for a pumpkin carving party. Claire was asleep when we got there so mom and dad took turns holding her while Daniel and I carved the pumpkin. When she woke up she was ready to go and played soooooo hard.
We went for the traditional carved pumpkin look.
In addition to good food and good fun, Daniel and I found what could be Claire's big Christmas present..................a playhouse! She LOVED this house at the party and couldn't get enough of it. Claire loves to pretend and this house was right up her alley.
My dad kept knocking on the windows and the door of the house. Claire thought it was great and would open the windows to see who was there. Every time my dad would pop his head in and say hi and she thought it was the best thing ever. Eventually she started giving him kisses every time he popped his head it. Luckily I snapped a picture of one of the smooches. I love the picture below!
When Claire wasn't looking, Daniel got in the house and popped his head out to surprise her! The look on both of their faces in the picture below is priceless!

After the party, we went home and relaxed the rest of the evening. We spent most of the time outside because the weather was gorgeous.
Daniel and I bought Claire her first t-ball set.............yes we start them young in the Hubert house. She definitely needs some practice but she enjoyed fetching the ball and putting it back on the tee.

Love the pics of Clarie and the playhouse. We were thinking of getting one for Ava too for either Christmas or her birthday. She loves to pretend with her kitchen set so we were thinking she would like the playhouse too. Looks like you guys are having a great visit with your parents.
