The day after Claire's birthday we relaxed at the house and enjoyed watching Claire play with her new toys. G-paw had a good time pushing Claire and Elmo on Claire's new tricycle.
She also loves her new scooter that she got from her Nana and Grandpa Bob. She really does a great job riding it and I was impressed with her balance and coordination.................
Until we put her new roller skates on! All of the great balance and coordination was lost at that point but it was hilarious to watch and she had a great time trying it out.
The helmet was a little too big.
Claire and G-paw really had a good time cracking each other up. I know she will miss him this year while he's in Saudi Arabia but at least we get to see him on Skype!!!
When is was time for Gigi and G-paw to leave, Daniel loaded their suitcases into the car and Claire insisted on going to get her suitcase to load up too. She wanted to go with them and cried so hard when they pulled out of the driveway. It stinks to live so far away from grandparents :(
On a completely random note, never put a slip-n-slide down on your grass without running the water constantly..........oops!
