A Fun Family Visit

Warning..........this is a really long post with way too many pictures but I want to document the event so bear with me.

The last week of July was a fun one!  My dad flew in from Saudi Arabia but this time he flew to my house instead of going home to Texas.  My mom and my oldest niece, Tanner, flew in the next day.  The first couple of days were spent at our house in Alabama.  The girls had a blast.  The first night we played outside and the girls found the one and only puddle of water on the street to play in.  Their clothes were completely ruined.............sorry Juli.

On Friday, we packed it up and headed to Blue Mountain Beach.  Blue Mountain Beach is located about 15 minutes from Destin in a much quieter section of beach.  The condo was perfect for our group and we had a great relaxing week.  We stayed for four days and then left to give mom and dad some much needed "alone time" for a few days.

The next day we decided to head into Destin to go on a Dolphin Cruise.  The girls were super excited and we saw quite a few dolphins.  My only complaint was it was really hot and pregnant and hot don't go together so well.

At one point during the trip, the captain of the boat let all the kids have a hand at the wheel.  The girls thought it was the best thing ever and they even got a certificate stating that they were able to be the Captain for a bit.

Then it was back to the beach for the afternoon.

The trip to the beach was great and we couldn't have asked for a better time.  Daniel and I brought the kids home with us on Tuesday and Gigi and G-Paw stayed at the beach.  A couple of days later we got a surprise visit from Uncle Blake.  For those of you who don't know Blake, he's not technically an uncle but that's what we call him.  It was good to see him!

Gigi and G-paw came back and on our last night they gave the girls some bubble makers.  We sat outside after it cooled off and watched them have fun riding the jeep and blowing their bubbles.  If you're wondering, I have no idea why Claire decided to put her winter hat on to play outside in the 90 degree heat but whatever right???
