The week after we brought Owen home was busy and tiresome and included a lot of "in the house" time. Daniel, my mom, and Daniel's dad did a great job taking care of and entertaining Claire while I took care of the baby. The weather was so mild this Christmas season that we got quite a bit or outdoor time as well. Here are a few random pictures from the two weeks before Christmas.
A couple of nights before Christmas we got a very special call from the "North Pole" (i.e. a call from G-paw in Saudi Arabia). Claire was so surprised and thought it was the absolute neatest thing ever. She felt very special that Santa would take the time to call her. She couldn't believe that he knew so much about her and her family and the toys that she wanted. Her face was priceless.
