Playdate and ENT Visit

I took Claire to the Ear, Nose and Throat doctor this morning to discuss potential tube implementation. Luckily the doctor agreed with me that Claire is a "boarderline" candidate for tubes and agrees that we should wait and see what happens through the summer. If she does end up needing tubes, at least we may be able to get through the summer months without them so Claire can continue to enjoy her "water sports." The good thing is that we now have the referral and the ENT doctor gave me his card to call if I think she is coming down with another infection.

On a different note, yesterday Amy invited us over for dinner. John is also gone right now so it was nice to hang out with just her and the kids enjoyed playing together. Claire had meatloaf for the first time along with mashed potatoes and corn (one of her favorites). One thing that Claire and Ally share in common is their love for food. Both of the girls cleaned their plates! After dinner we played outside. Jacob and Ally have a swing set with a slide and Claire loved it! Jacob also gave Claire a ride in his jeep, complete with a FM radio. It was really cute! Thanks for having us over Amy!

Ally fell yesterday and bumped her head on the corner of the train table. She got a pretty good goose egg :(
