There is a lake at Ft. Rucker called Lake Tholocco (sp???) and in May they open it up for swimming. The first weekend that it opens there is a festival called Lake Fest and we decided to make a day of it with friends. The kids had a blast and we had fun hanging out with everyone. Claire got a pretty serious ear infection the next week and I think I can attribute it to this icky water. She had a blast but definitely paid for it with the infection. Now that we've had her tubes removed, hopefully we won't have that problem any more.
