This year, the McDonald's invited us to their house on post to watch fireworks and celebrate the fourth of July. Unfortunately we never saw the fireworks because they were delayed due to weather and the 9:00 start time ended up being pushed to midnight. With young kiddos, we had to leave before they started. However, we had some great fun despite missing the fireworks display. We started off the evening with some yummy food and then headed outside to play games. Haley had the great idea to try our hands at some Minute To Win It games and it was so much fun. We played guys against girls and did the "move the oreo from your forehead to mouth" game, egg toss, pass the ball with your chin and neck, and a relay while carrying an egg on a spoon. The adults had just as much fun as the kids! It was our last hoorah before moving to Texas. We miss these families so much and secretly hope that they all end up moving to Fort Bliss with us!
