One night in early October, before it got too cool, Daniel decided to have some quality father/daughter time with Claire by setting up a tent and camping in the back yard. Claire and Owen both had fun "helping" him set up the tent. After putting Owen to bed, we all three sat in the tent and watched a movie. Then I went to sleep in the house with Owen while Daniel and Claire slept outside. We took bets on whether or not she would stay all night but she did and she had so much fun! Daniel said that she was so wound up that he had a hard time getting her to lay still to go to sleep. Finally he said "did you hear that??" She said "no, what?" He said, "we better be quiet so the bears don't come." After that Claire didn't make another peep. Hahaha!
