On November 6th, my friends threw me a baby shower at one of the community centers on post at Ft. Rucker. Three of my closest friends, Holly, Erin and Dawn hosted the shower along with some help from my sisters in Texas who made invitations and some of the printable items that they used for decoration. One thing I love about the military is that it's easy to make friends quickly. Everyone is in the same situation, moving from place to place, so it's easy to make fast and strong friendships. After only being in Alabama six months, it was very special to me that close to thirty new friends came to my shower. I am very thankful to have met people quickly and to have such special people in my life.

The theme of the shower was Cirque Du Bebe and it turned out really cute. The colors were orange and blue and they decorated with elephants and other circus animals.
