Last night I gave Daniel the option of going out to dinner or having a nice dinner at home. I had already arranged for my friend Mary to watch Claire so we could have a couple,s night out but Daniel opted to stay home so Claire could be a part of his birthday celebration. It was a good choice. We made stuffed manicotti for dinner and it was really good.
I stopped a local bakery on my way home from work to pick up birthday dessert. We sang happy birthday and Claire helped daddy blow out the candles.
I chose a slice of blueberry topped cheesecake and a chocolate and vanilla layered cake. They were both so good.
